Our Team

Hi! My name is Melissa.
I’m a Play Therapist, Social Worker and the Creator of BlueSkies Counselling.

With years of experience working for not-for-profit and community health organisations, research and public sectors, Melissa develops meaningful connections through her authenticity, integrity and playful sense of humour!

A Melbourne-based play therapist and social worker, Melissa has worked with many families experiencing complex issues such as parenting difficulties, mental illness, disability, family violence and separations, grief and loss.

Melissa offers children’s counselling to achieve profound changes for children like improved emotional regulation, confidence and self-worth. Through parent coaching and education, Melissa enhances parent-child relationships to bring delight back into family homes. Melissa works holistically with children, parents, siblings and other significant people in a child’s life so families can feel empowered and ready to take on life’s challenges.
