Our single-session, Parent Support sessions are helpful if you don’t have enough time in the day, or are experiencing financial pressures.
As rewarding as parenting can be, it can also be incredibly challenging and isolating. You don’t need to do it alone.
Our Parent Support Sessions can help you to:
Develop strategies to manage stressful times with your child
Understand your child’s emotional needs
Recognise and attend to your own emotions and triggers
Help your child reach their full potential
Have better relationships with your kids
Feel more confident and capable in your parenting
Be the parent you want to be!
Our Parent Support Sessions can also help you with:
Parenting through separation
Adjusting to your child’s chronic illness, hospitalisation or diagnosis
Adjusting to pregnancy and parenthood
Parenting as a Foster or Kinship carer
Our Parent Support Therapists are experienced mental health professionals who utilise a range of evidence-based, humanistic treatment approaches that focus on connection to self and others, finding new meaning in past experiences, and the rediscovery of inner strengths and resources.
Please note, you don’t need a GP referral to schedule a private Parent Support Session. NDIS funding (self or plan-managed) may be accepted, please check with your funding manager.
Appointments are available during school hours or evenings, in-person or online. To explore Parent Support Sessions with one of our experienced therapists, simply book in a time at your convenience below.
