Our single-session, Online Parent Counselling sessions are helpful if you don’t have enough time in the day, or are experiencing financial pressures.
As rewarding as parenting can be, it can also be incredibly challenging and isolating. You don’t need to do it alone.
Our Parent Counsellors can support you to:
Develop strategies to manage stressful times with your child
Understand your child’s emotional needs
Recognise and attend to your own emotions and triggers
Help your child reach their full potential
Have better relationships with your kids
Feel more confident and capable in your parenting
Be the parent you want to be!
Our Parent Counsellors can also help with:
Parenting through separation
Adjusting to child’s chronic illness, hospitalisation or diagnosis
Adjusting to pregnancy and parenthood
Parenting as a Foster or Kinship carer
Our Parent Counsellors are experienced mental health professionals who utilise a range of evidence-based, humanistic treatment approaches that focus on connection to self and others, finding new meaning in past experiences, and the rediscovery of inner strengths and resources.
Please note, you don’t need a GP referral to schedule a private Parent Counselling appointment. NDIS funding (self or plan-managed) may be accepted.
Appointments available during school hours. To explore Parent Counselling with one of our experienced therapists, simply book in a time at your convenience below.
